About eastern catholic benefit plan & trust

 


Established in 2012 by Eastern Catholic Churches, Eastern Catholic Benefit Plan and Trust is designed specifically to cater to the needs of the smaller diocese. It is a self funded Church Plan sponsored by the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Pittsburgh, Byzantine Rite. 


The Plan's primary objectives are long term rate stability and adherence to Catholic doctrine. It is currently comprised of six Eastern Catholic eparchies in the United States.


ECBP is designed to completely remove the burden of operating a health plan from an Eparchy or its finance office. The plan has been managed and represented by Employee Benefit Services, Inc since its inception in 2012. EBS has been representing and working with Eastern Catholic eparchies since 1987.
